Curly Horse Mitten Pattern

This pattern has horse with a long curly tails and a swirly motif around them.   Hearts and pluses are interspersed amongst the swirls.   The pattern is knit on US size 1 needles with a gauge of 9.5 stitches and 11 rows /inch giving a finish size of 8 inches around and 8 3/4 inches tall for each mitten.   These mittens are  knit in handspun fingering weight polypay yarn.   Any fingering weight yarn would work nicely.   The directions are fully charted in addition to the written directions.
