Sledding Hat Pattern

This is and adult sized hat knitted in worsted weight yarn.   The stranding pattern shows a horse pulling two sleds full of kids with a small dog trailing behind.  The crown of the hat has a snowflake on it.  The hat is knitted on size 4 double pointed needles.  The gauge is 9 stitches and 13 rows/2 inches.   Hat size can be modified by modifying the gauge which can be done by using a different weight yarn or needle size.  With the standing throughout the hat and the folded under brim it's a very warm hat perfect for sledding, skiing or barn work.
