Running Horse Felted Pillow

This pillow is made from felted wool.  The blue front cover is commercially made 100% wool felt that I dyed blue.  The horse is handmade 100% wool felt that was hand felted onto the blue background.  Felting opens up all kinds of opportunities for color and design.  It’s a little bit like painting with wool.  This characteristic makes each piece unique.  Designs are only limited by your imagination.  This pillow is 13 inches by 13 inches.  The back is black commercial wool felt and the pillow piping around the edge of the same black felt.
