Quilt Sock II

These are the second in the quilt socks series.  Like the first in the series they are knit from lace weight yarn on size 1 needles.   The design is based on a quilt my grandmother made for my mother.  The design utilizes both stranding and lace techniques in the knitting.  The stranding creates the trees in the green and white block and the lace creates the heavy quilting in the plain blocks.  The socks in the photo are knitted in windy valley australian merino yarn.
