One Horse Open Sleigh Hat Pattern

The idea for this hat has been rumbling around in my head for a long while. I was inspired in a big way by Susan Jeffers illustrations in her childrens'  book "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" and the horses in my back yard.

The hat is knit on size 3 dpns with sport weight yarn. The hat in the picture is knitted with Subito Farm Handspun and is available in the store or as a custom order.
