Man in the Moon Mittens

Man in the moon mittens are knit on size 3 needles.   The front of the mittens feature the man in the moon and a handful of stars.  The palms are covered with stars with bigger stars circling the cuffs of the mittens.  The mittens in the photo are made from handspun subito farm sport weight yarn in white and deep purple.  The pattern makes an average adult sized mitten.
