Cross Country Ski Mitten Pattern

I am a cross country skier with cross country ski trails right outside my back door, so it seemed appropriate that I have a pair for mittens to ski in that had a cross country skier on them.  These are knitted on size 3 double pointed needles in handspun sport weight yarn but any sport weight yarn will work just fine.
